Crystals ..Ooh.. Ahh...

• There are six crystal forms.
• Cubic, Tetragonal, Hexagonal, Orthorhombic, Monoclinic, and Triclinic are the six.

Each one is a different mineral.
These minerals are all formed from elements
that are combined together at multiple times
each day. To me, these mineral formations can be inaccurate, because of the fact that crystals grow in totally randomized ways..
It's interesting enough though that they are plainly set up..

These are the crystal forms. They can be various in many ways, the minerals themselves are classified under these forms. There are a fairly large number of minerals.
CRYSTALS ARE SO SWEET!!!

• Isometric- Also known as the cubic crystal system. These crystals are usually shaped like blocks, with symmetrical faces. Example : Pyrite
• Tetragonal- Usually, these crystals are shaped like four-sided prisms, or pyramids. Example: Zircon
• Hexagonal- Usually shaped like 6-sided Prisms or pyramids. Example: Beryl
• Orthohomibic- These crystals are somewhat short and stubby. Example: Topaz
• Monoclinic- These are also short and stubby, however they also have tilted faces at each end. Example: Gypsum
• Triclinic- Usually flat with sharp edges, they show no right angles. Example: Feldspar
